Gerald C. McDevitt is a nationally recognized forensic reconstruction and forensic mapping expert with more than 32 years of professional experience providing expert analysis, reporting, and testimony in state, federal, and U.S. military courts.
He has been qualified and accepted as an expert witness in the disciplines of traffic collision reconstruction, forensic mapping, and emergency vehicle operations, and his work has consistently met Daubert and Frye admissibility standards.
Gerald McDevitt has reconstructed or assisted in the reconstruction of hundreds of fatal traffic collisions, investigated thousands of serious-injury collisions, and analyzed thousands of additional collision events.

Gerald McDevitt holds a Bachelor of Science in International Management from Clemson University and served in the United States Air Force as an Integrated Avionics Systems Specialist.
He began his forensic career in law enforcement with the Charleston Police Department, where he served for 17 years, including 15 years as a supervisor, motorcycle unit leader, and Traffic Homicide Team supervisor.
